Matic hits late winner as Man Utd secure comeback win at Palace
Former Chelsea star, Nemanja Matic scored a stunning stoppage-time winner to help Manchester United go second in the Premier League table as they came from 2-0 down to win at Crystal Palace.
Palace, fighting relegation, held a two-goal lead shortly after half-time, but the visitors continued to press and were able to equalize by 76 minutes, before Matic’s late stunner.
Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt were Palace’s goal scorers, while Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku (who scored his 99th Premier League goal) cancelled their efforts.

A minute into added time, Matic smashed in a dipping shot from 25 yards to move United above Liverpool, who they play this weekend.
Roy Hodgson’s side would have climbed all the way up to 13th place with a win, but have been consigned to another week in the drop zone– on 18th spot.
United will host Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday, a clash that would go a long way to determine where both teams would finish in the league this season.
