GB men & women in World Cup and Eurobasket qualifying
Great Britain women - Eurobasket 2019
Great Britain's women, who failed to qualify for Eurobasket 2017, made a good start to their campaign to qualify for the 2019 finals when they edged a thrilling overtime game against Israel in Manchester and then came close to shocking Group D top seeds Greece.
GB next travel to the Algarve to play Portugal, and then have a trip to Tel Aviv to take on Israel.
Coach Jose Maria Buceta has a new addition to the squad in the form of naturalised shooting guard Karlie Samuelson, who played college basketball for Stanford, including in a national Final Four.
